 In the brewhouse, we maintain the highest standards to make sure you never have to worry about Parts Per Million (PPM) or “Legal Limitations”… this beer will always be Gluten-Free.

Founder/ Head Brewer

Our Head Brewer and Owner Robert Keifer became Gluten-Free in 2010, and immediately noticed how few gluten free beers the world had to offer, especially in Southern California. He tried “Gluten Reduced” beers, but the issues didn’t go away. After his beers started placing in competitions next to barley-based beers, he thought there should be a local presence for 100% Gluten-Free beer.

Vice President of Sales

 Vice President of Sales, Domonic Keifer has been gluten free since 2012. Shortly after her and Robert started home brewing she agreed with Robert about the market needing more than the same three beers she was buying every time – and felt that the time was right for all craft beer lovers to have a seat at the table! With her previous F&B experience, Divine Science was born.

One thing we intimately understand at Divine Science is how difficult it is to diagnose gluten intolerance or celiac – since the symptoms vary person to person. Being self-aware is only the beginning to figuring this out – when we first went gluten free – they didn’t even have tests good enough to spot the signs of celiac… more often than not this gets diagnosed as simply IBS… and I’m sure you know what most doctors prescribe when someone has IBS… more bread… just sad… elimination diets are the best way to test yourself- and luckily nowadays doctors understand this disease much better… there is hope – and even beer, bread and cookies that are 100% gluten free! . . . Lose the gluten – lose the sickness- we love hearing stories from people who have solved various chronic diseases like asthma, inflammation, type 2 diabetes, wasting disease, etc. all just by eliminating gluten! . . .
